People call me Sunshine. My given name is Sun-hee. When you call me to discuss your storage options, payment plan, or how best to organize your treasures, you can call me Sunny, if you like.

I immigrated to the United States from South Korea to start a new adventure in what feels like a few lifetimes ago. If you would have told me that I would leave my old life behind to live in the United States, become a mother to 6 beautiful girls, and end up owning my own storage shed company in Pahrump, Nevada, I wouldn’t have believed you.

When I first arrived in this country I had very little, just a carry on suitcase and loads of ambition.

I had two goals. My first goal was to learn how to say in English, “Hello. May I please order a turkey sandwich? Hold the pickles.” I attended the local community college and quickly achieved goal #1.

My second goal was to create a life that would set an example for my children. I wanted them to see a mother who was excited about all life has to offer and someone who loved showing up to work every day. It always puts a smile on my face when my kids see me speaking with a customer on the phone or planning new additions to the company.

When I am not working on A+ Storage Sheds, I teach yoga in my comunity and continue to be a mother to my girls even though they are all adults now and quite happily living their own adventures. ( I also still enjoy turkey sandwiches.)
